Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat spider veins. During sclerotherapy a solution is injected directly into the affected vessel. This solution irritates the vessel and causes the body to break the vessel down and absorb it into the body.
Sclerotherapy works well for many clients. In general, the vessels respond within 3-6 weeks. Discomfort is mild and temporary, and the procedure itself takes 30-45 minutes.
